The Right Track Version 2.00 Deluxe Profit Chart
The following chart shows the various income and expenses associated with the Deluxe version of The Right Track version 2.00. It should clearly show that agencies of nearly every volume can use The Right Track to reap a sizable profit - which is critical in this time of capped airline commissions. By comparing this chart with that of the Standard version, you will see that travel agencies whose volume is $3 Million and up are better served choosing the Deluxe version whereas smaller agencies are better off with the Standard version. | Collecting 62% & Losing 38% is a conservative estimate of the average agency commission loss when either not tracking or doing so with poor tracking tools (many say this figure is closer to 50%). | |
| Software Recoups 25% More is again a conservative estimate of how much more commission The Right Track will allow you to recover if operated properly. This, added to the amount you are already collecting means you should now receive 85% of the missing commissions. However, some agencies using the software have more than doubled their commission intake. | |
| Est. Manpower & Mailing Costs - Manpower is based on an average annual salary of $17,500 per person tracking/invoicing/etc.. The manpower is estimated to be 60% of the Standard version values due to time and effort saving features such as Batch Processing and Faxing of Invoices. Mailing Costs are estimated to be 30% of the Standard version values due to the tremendous cost savings of faxing vs. mailing invoices. | |
| Annual Right Track Leasing Cost is based on an agency prepaying lease 12 months in advance, and is exclusive of any volume discounts offered to consortiums, etc.. | |
| Total In-House Tracking Costs is the sum of the Manpower/Mailing Costs and the Right Track Annual Lease Cost. This total is exclusive of initial hardware costs, as these would vary among vendors, and may, in cases, already be present in the travel agency. | |
| Net Incremental Profit represents, of course, the amount the software recoups (25%) less the Total In-House Tracking Costs. |
